Admissions

Saint Paul’s Catholic High School is a welcoming school which is open to non-Catholic and Catholic pupils.

Our Admissions Policy for the Academic Year 2020-21 and 2021-22 is available for download below.

We aim to do as much as we can to welcome many pupils of varying needs into our positive and dynamic learning environment.

As parents and carers of prospective pupils, you may wish to arrange a visit to Saint Paul’s Catholic High School or simply discuss any aspect of the admissions procedure. In either instance, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

The school office is open from 8.00am until 4.30pm Monday to Friday.

Appeals

The School Standards and Framework Act 1998 gives parents the right to express a preference for the particular school(s) they wish their child to attend.

If your request for a place at a particular school has been refused in writing by the admission authority, you can:

i) Appeal: you have the right to appeal against the admission authority’s decision to refuse the admission.

ii) Contact the local authority’s Admissions Team to ask about vacancies in other schools (contact details at the back of the booklet)

This booklet should help those parents/carers who have not been able to obtain a place for their child in the school of their choice – click School_Appeals_Booklet_2021_WEB
